- ...Long, short, true, false, cinematic, fly-on-the-wall, visual, tear-jerking, funny, experiential, social, emotional or even quasi-religious (I was once hired to write the manifesto for a cult).
People say I can be hard to pigeon-hole.
I shared a cutting table with John Galliano at St Martin’s School of Art, before cutting my advertising chops working for Sir John Hegarty and David Abbott, both of whom instilled in me the power of a great idea and how to craft it.
I co-wrote Tom Hiddleston’s first major TV role and got nominated for a British Comedy Award, sold lots of TV pilots to U.S networks and a comedy series to HBO.
Oh, and I also orchestrated the invention of an ice-cream brand from scratch, and worked as in-house Creative Director at TK Maxx before anybody really wanted to be in-house.
Most recently I was Head of Art at Sky Works running a great team of Designers, Art Directors and Copywriters in the fast-paced world of broadcast and telecommunications.
Not exactly a neatly cultivated career progression but plenty of material to help you tell your story.
